Gaining weight in LEAN Muscle mass is harder than leaning out. It is all about the food. If you enjoy food during your weight gain eating program, you are not eating enough. Food and a food program are critical.
Just like all other fitness goals a focus on calorie consumption is the name of the game. Eating 3000-5000 kcal/day to help gain muscle and/or weight is common. Be mindful to consume more fuel and nutrient then what’s being burnt in daily life and in the gym. And then add more on top of that to grow.
If the goal is to look big and bad incorporate quality proteins, good fats, and complex carbs.
Avoid fast food and restaurants. Eat full meals on a schedule and stay hydrated.
High-calorie weight gainers and complex carb powders are great supplements to add to a weight gain program.
